Kashmir welfare society's one prime objective is to provide quality health services to our community. This is only possible through provision of appropriate infrastructure and availability of highly trained and qualified staff.
Incompliance to first requirement, KWS has established a 150 bedded hospital, spreading over more than 5 acres surrounded by lush green environment. It is also fully equipped by high tech modern machinery.
In order to meet the second requirement i.e. provision of highly skilled staff, the society decided to launch a Paramedical Institute in our community so that highly skilled paramedical staff can be arranged.
As a start Kashmir Institute of Paramedical Sciences is established. It is registered by the Punjab Medical Faculty (PMF) Lahore. The exam for it is conducted by the Punjab Medical Faculty.
In the institute following courses and facilities are available.
- One Year Dispenser Course
- One Year Operation Theater Assistant Course (OTA)
- Highly skilled teaching staff
- Modern Library
- Lecture Rooms
- Demonstration Rooms
- Auditorium
As the society's main objective is service rather than profit orientation, the same thing is also reflected in our institute.
Special care has been taken in recruiting the students. For this duty a board has been formed which finalizes the admissions.
