Poverty should not be allowed to take away one of the basic human rights.... "The Right to Live"
Current Projects School of Midwifery

Kashmir welfare society's one prime objective is to provide quality health services to our community. This is only possible through provision of appropriate infrastructure and availability of highly trained and qualified staff.

Incompliance to first requirement, KWS has established a 150 bedded hospital, spreading over more than 5 acres surrounded by lush green environment. It is also fully equipped by high tech modern machinery.

In order to meet the second requirement i.e. provision of highly skilled staff, the society decided to launch a nursing college in our community so that highly skilled staff can be arranged.

As a start the Midwifery School was established. It is registered by the Pakistan Nursing council. The exam for it was conducted by the Punjab Nursing Examination Board which is the sole authority in Pakistan for the certification.

In the midwifery school the following facilities are available.

  • Highly skilled teaching staff

  • Modern Library

  • Lecture Rooms

  • Demonstration Rooms

  • Hostel facilities.
As the society's main objective is service rather than profit orientation, the same thing is also reflected in our school.

To all students education, books and residence is provided free of cost. And as motivation a reasonable monthly stipend is also given.

Special care has been taken in recruiting the students. For this duty a board has been formed which finalizes the admissions.

By grace of Almighty Allah, to date 3 Batches has passed there courses.
